Upon arrival, we were warmly welcomed with informative staff who made check-in seamless. Our spacious room featured a flat-screen TV and essential amenities like a mini-bar and electric kettle, offering comforts akin to home. Daily housekeeping ensured our space remained tidy, which is a bonus after long days spent exploring. The highlight was undoubtedly the infinity pool, with picturesque views of the river valley-perfect for unwinding after family activities. Breakfast, served until 11 am, was plentiful, accommodating our late holiday mornings. the on-site dining options provided flexibility, catering to various budgets without compromising quality. While not the cheapest option, Herdade do Freixial strikes an admirable balance between comfort and value, making it a worthy consideration for those seeking tranquility immersed in nature.
